Sunday, May 10, 2009 at 11:20PM I didn't watch This Week with George Stephanopoulos, but evidently he mentioned that Edwards's top staffers had created a "doomsday" strategy in case he came within sniffing distance of winning the Democratic nomination.
That's almost hard to believe. The staff actually had a plan to sabotage Edwards's campaign if it looked like he had any chance of knocking off Hillary and Obama. Talk about a monumentally flawed candidate and candidacy. If I was an Edwards donor I'd demand a refund of my campaign contribution. He had zero business being a candidate, and it simply speaks to his vanity and narcissism that he forged ahead withi his doomed campaign. Unreal.
