Kudlow: "Obama at war with investors" ...
Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 01:27PM Larry Kudlow might be an ideologue, and a bit of a blow-hard at times, but it doesn't mean that his assesment of Obama's budget monstrosity is wrong.
He thinks the president is "at war with inevstors, entreprenuers, and businesses", and posits that country will soon suffer from "buyers remorse." The money paragraph:
"The tax hikes will generate lower growth and fewer revenues. Yes, the economy will recover. But Obama’s rosy scenario of 4 percent recovery growth in the out years of his budget is not likely to occur. The combination of easy money from the Fed and below-potential economic growth is a prescription for stagflation. That’s one of the messages of the falling stock market."
He's not the only conservative voice predicting stagflation, but he's the most credible.
