Senator Burris caught in a severe shading of the truth

Seems like the Governor Blago scandal just doesn't want to go gentle into that good night.
Now it turns out that Roland Burris, Blago's pick for the Senate, had been approached by Blago's brother three times for fundraising help.
Burris testified before Congress and the Illinois impeachment hearing that he had not had contact with Blago or his brother regarding campaign donations.
A month after those hearings, however, Burris decided to come clean ... only after he became worried that the Feds had wire-tapped some of those conversations.
Truth be told, the revelation won't really change much in Illinois or Washington, except that it probably gives the Republicans a little more ammo in 2010 to win back the seat. Blago's corrupt. Burris has shaded the truth. The whole state is one giant croynism buffet. None of this should come as surprise to anyone.
The Republican National Committee should start recruiting candidates now for this seat.
