The SNL effect
Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 08:12PM www.realclearpolitics.com has an interesting piece about President Obama turning into a bit of a punchline. The last few weeks have been difficult for the president, and it hasn't gone unnoticed by SNL, Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, and other funny men of the left.
SNL turned Ford into a caricature; they did the same to Sarah Palin. Obama isn't there yet, but he's starting to develop a reputation as someone who can't seem to close the deal. Healthcare reform will get him off the snide, but will it be enough?
