Paul Newman RIP

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Paul Newman.
In an industry replete with self-absorbed buffoons, he was a class act, through and through.
Not only was he a great actor, he was also a great businessman, philanthropist, husband and father. Several of his movies rank among the all-time greats, including one of my favorites, The Sting. He was the last of the great 20th century movie stars, and he will be missed.
RIP.

"The Verdict" was one of his best movies.
I lived in Westport for a awhile and we would see Newman on the streets in town every so often. Those blue eyes would flabbergast the otherwise unflappable women of the town.
I'll always think of him tooling around Westport in his beat up old pick up....
