Enquirer has photo proof of Edwards Love Child ... so what

The National Enquirer has been pushing this John Edwards "love-child" story for several weeks, but the mainstream media has mostly left it alone.

Now the Enquirer claims to have photgraphic evidence of said love-child, and the mainstream media continues to ignore it.  Those on the political right seem to think it's another example of the liberal media -- up to its old tricks -- protecting one of their favorite sons, and that's why we aren't reading about it in the MSM.

I don't think there's any grand conspirancy at work -- the guy simply isn't relevant anymore.  Who cares if he has a love-child.  He's not on Obama's short list, and as of now he's not being talked about for a cabinet position or the like.   Should Obama win, and should Edwards come under consideration for Attorney General or a similar post, then it would become an issue, and rest assured the allegations would be completely vetted by the media.  But for the time being, this is a non story.

The Enquirer should go back to breaking stories about aliens giving birth to Montauk Monsters.
