If you don't have a man crush on Chuck Todd, you're just plain weird

For all of you guys out there who have a man-crush on NBC's political director Chuck Todd (count my colleague Mitch Koppel three times for that), there's a new website called ChuckToddFacts.com which satisfies your every curiousity about the uber-star.

todd_061102.300w.jpgAccording to the website, "Chuck Todd Facts is dedicated to everything Chuck Todd. Who the @#$% is Chuck Todd you ask? If you have to ask, you don't belong here."

For instance, did you know that Chuck Todd was never a virgin? Or that he's 15-0 in office baby pools? Or that he knows another word for thesaurus?

You can submit your own Chuck Todd Fact to the website.  My own submission:  Chuck Todd knows who let the dogs out.

Getting to the next level in news heirarchy at NBC for my man-crush Chucky T will be a double edged sword.

If he maintains his current on-air presence (reserved, guy next door, humble, insider but never makes it seem that way) it may not fly, but

If he becomes more assertive, opinionated, acts as if is "the man" ala David Gregory, he becomes the exact opposite of what made him such a valuable asset to NBC news political team in the first place.

It will be interesting to see how his career evolves, given the devastating loss of Tim Russert.
