The Chinese governemnt loves Joe Morgan

I'm not much of an Olympics fan, and I'm certainly not interested in picking on China since they're way more powerful than me, but I just had to blog about this item.

It's no big revelation that the Chinese government blocks many websites.  The list would be too long to chronicle, but suffice to say it's usually politically related or some type of news organization.  Evidentially, they're not enamored with the truth.

But they're also blocking my favorite website -- in fact the best blog in creation -- www.firejoemorgan.com For the uninitiated, FJM is a blog dedicated to discrediting bad sports journalism.  Or more specifically, bad baseball journalism.  Joe Morgan, being an abomination to sports broadcasting, is their guiding light.

It's by far the most creative and brilliant writing on the internet, and has a huge and dedicated following.  Why the Chinese are blocking this doesn't make much sense.  Are they huge fans of the Big Red Machine?  Are they anti Moneyball?(the FJM guys worship the book) . Do they consider Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN sacred viewing? I just don't get it.   Someone must figure this out. My head is spinning like a top right now.
