Finally, the fat lady sings

It only took unrelenting pressure from her supporters in congress, but it looks like Hillary Clinton will finally concede that Obama will be the Democratic nominee.

Evidentially,  Hillary tried to convince her Congressional supporters to give her a "few more days" (for what purpose, who knows), but they would have none of it.

It seems like her non-conciliatory, non-concession speech really rubbed some of her own supporters the wrong way.  So much so that a few of them, like Congressman Charles Rengel and Hillary Rosen, took to the airwaves to tell Hillary that it was time to stand down.

Which leads back to the original question:  What does madame Hillary want from all this? A place on the ticket? A spot at the convention? A shadow candidacy in case Obama stumbles? All of it? None of it?

Who knows.  The Veepstakes drama is going to play out over the next few months. It's highly unlikely that Obama would make any decision prior to Denver, so get ready for two months of mindless guessing games.  I still believe that Obama doesn't want her anywhere near the ticket, and he'll use Bill Clinton -- and all the baggage he brings, including his refusal to publicly list the donors to his presidential library -- as an excuse for by-passing Hillary. Let the intrigue begin!

How many hours will go by after she drops out before Bill divorces her ass? 2? Maybe 3?
