Simmer down, Jets fans

Congrats to the Jets.  They're in first place with their (we nearly choked it away) win over the Patriots last night.

That's great, Jets fans.  Enjoy it ... but remember, it's still the Jets.   This is the team that brought you Dan Marino's fake spike; the Bruce Coslet era in professional football; and some unforgettable drafts moments.

So enjoy it now before the season comes apart at the seams ... because you know it will. It's just a matter of time. It's the Jets.

Footnote:  To quote our disgraced former Governor Elliot Spitzer, the Giants are an "effing steamroller."

Always living in the past. Just like the Republicans. As the Democrats have reinvented themselves and now dominate. So to will the Jets. Dominate is a stretch, I know. But like the Dems, the Jets now have a great leader/QB. Get ready for the Path Superbowl.
