Easy to say Romney would have been a great selection to handle this bailout fiasco, but check it, there was no bailout fiasco when the selection was made. 20/20 sure, Obama picks Hillary, McCain picks Romney, and I stick Eco 1 out so my annual bonus exceeds my SAT score (after TAXES, NICK!!!!!!!).
Look, I like sprinkles on top of my ice cream just like the next man, but it was idiotic placing Palin into the mouths of the far left media. But what impact do those dingbats have on the undecided voters? The media has been destroying her in such a juvenile and unbalanced way that instead of looking objective, they look like bullies. Nick, a bully you'll remember as the the person that forced your head into the toilet in high school. I knew that fresh breath came from somewhere. AFTER TAXES NICK!!!!!!!!!!
I guess McCain never heard of Bear Sterns ... I always thought Romney was the front runner, and would have made the best choice. If he was on the ticket, this bailout mess would be working in McCain's favor.
Yeah but Romney would not have given McCain that 15 point bump...I think Romney's economic prowess and Palin's surge then blunder would probably have netted out the same support for McCain. But isn't the real issue simply this: John McCain just isn't exciting. As a republican, I find nothing about this guy that makes me excited. He looks like Kermit the Frog up there, like someone's underneath him moving his arms by adjusting the wires attached. I like peanut butter.
