KJ running point for Sacramento (the city, not the Kings)

Add former Phoenix Suns point-guard Kevin Johnson's name to the list of jocks who have successfully transitioned to a political career.

KJ is on the verge of becoming Sacramento's next Mayor, according to the most recent polls.  At 42 years old, if he has a succesful two-term run as Mayor, he'll be on everyone's shortlist to run for Governor or Senator.  He serves as a great role model for today's athletes that there's life beyond the playing field.  Definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Nor do not saw the air too much with your hand, thus, but use all gently. For in the very torrent, tempest, and as I may say, whirlwind of passion, you must acquire and beget a temperance that may give it smoothness.

Listen. Do not have an opinion while you listen because frankly, your opinion doesn?t hold much water outside of Your Universe. Just listen. Listen until their brain has been twisted like a dripping towel and what they have to say is all over the floor.

Books...are like lobster shells, we surround ourselves with 'em, then we grow out of 'em and leave 'em behind, as evidence of our earlier stages of development.
