KJ running point for Sacramento (the city, not the Kings)
Sunday, October 26, 2008 at 09:32AM Add former Phoenix Suns point-guard Kevin Johnson's name to the list of jocks who have successfully transitioned to a political career.
KJ is on the verge of becoming Sacramento's next Mayor, according to the most recent polls. At 42 years old, if he has a succesful two-term run as Mayor, he'll be on everyone's shortlist to run for Governor or Senator. He serves as a great role model for today's athletes that there's life beyond the playing field. Definitely worth keeping an eye on.
